Coursework checklist: All up-to-date – well done!

Statement of Intent final draft: Submitted.

Filming latest: Around half of it is filmed. A few scenes still need to be shot featuring the main character and further additional scenes may be required even after a rough cut. Planning to film this week (midweek) – need to consider daylight if it’s a factor (only around an hour of daylight after school). If light doesn’t work for this midweek, make sure it is covered by the weekend. Planning to start editing here but may switch to editing at home (be aware that you can’t switch back if you have a later version of Premiere at home).

Print planning: Research and planning process started and – not yet sure where photoshoot will take place but likely to plan to take pictures both on location and in a photoshoot in school.

Next steps:

·         Copy and paste this feedback to your Media 2 coursework blog with the title ‘Coursework tutorial feedback and learner response’.
·         Write a brief summary of what you plan to achieve in your coursework project in the next two weeks.

 During the week I will finish filming and hopefully have footage that i wont need to reshoot, and i will then plan my photoshoot if i dont get them while filming. I will also reveiw my footage and attempt to start the editing.

Mise-en-scene task (videos)

CLAMPS - mise-en-scene Costume- the characters' costumes are fitting to their roles as wizards as they are dressed in long black robes along with hats which typically connote ideas of witches/wizards. Lighting- the dark lighting suggests that it night time or unexpected missions occur often especially as both wizards seem to be prepared and in control. It also creates a sense of mystery as the dark lighting makes it difficult to see things fully. Actors- The actors look concerned and they walk alongside each other which suggests that they're dealing with an important case- this must mean they are important. Make-up - Dumbledore has a fake beard which connotes a kind of wisdom, and adds age to his character while Hagrid has sweat and dirt on his face which suggests he in charge of hard work.
